Community Empowerment Network Organization (CENO) began informally as a heartfelt initiative by committed former students of Marache Wodebo Primary School. Witnessing the needs of their communities firsthand, these dedicated individuals engaged in continuous discussions and collective action, culminating in the formal establishment of CENO in August 2025. We are a diverse team of multi-dimensional professionals united by a shared willingness to support our communities. Our approach is holistic, focusing on critical sectors such as Health, Education, Mechanized Agriculture, Road infrastructure, and generally improving the lifestyle of communities through strategic networking.
Following a thorough mini-assessment across seven zones (West Wollega, Kellen Wollega, East Wollega, Horo Guduru Wollega, Buno Bedele, Illu Aba Bora, and Jimma Zone), CENO is initially committed to supporting these communities. We aspire to gradually expand our services to a national level, reaching every corner of Ethiopia where our help is needed.
Our core operational approaches include volunteerism, attracting vital donations, fostering powerful networking, and conducting impactful fundraising initiatives.
